Angela Kamena holds a Master’s degree in Management of Development, with a specialization in Food and Nutrition Security, from Van Hall Larenstein University in the Netherlands. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.
She brings a diverse range of business experience and a strong entrepreneurial drive. While working full-time, Angela successfully established and managed a small home-based business selling clothing, shoes, and bedding for two years. This venture not only supplemented her income but also provided her with valuable insights into customer preferences, as well as practical experience in sales and marketing.
In addition, Angela has actively invested in her entrepreneurial development by participating in various short courses and training programs focused on business and entrepreneurship. Through these experiences, she has developed key competencies in leadership, communication, and financial management—skills that are essential for building and scaling a sustainable enterprise.
Overall, Angela’s hands-on experience in small business management, combined with her passion for entrepreneurship and commitment to continuous learning, has positioned her strongly to pursue and grow a business in mushroom production and sales in Zambia.
